This Petition for Review from the July 25, 1983 Finding and Award of the Fifth District Commissioner was heard May 25, 1984 before a Compensation Review Division panel consisting of the Commission Chairman, John Arcudi and Commissioners Robin Waller and Andrew Denuzze.

DISMISSAL OF APPEAL

A Petition for Review from the July 25, 1983 Finding and Award was filed by the employer and its insurance carrier in the Fifth District August 4, 1983. No Reasons of Appeal were submitted by these appellants until October 7, 1983. Administrative Regulations 31-301-2 prescribe that such Reasons of Appeal must be filed within ten days of the Petition, Johnson v. Courtland Gardens Convalescent Home, 154 CRD-7-82, 2 Conn. Workers’ Comp. Rev. Op. 82 (1984).

Therefore, this appeal must be dismissed due to the late filing of those Reasons.
